From Rabbi Tomer

Dear Friends,

For years, Chabad of Byron Shire has been a home without walls: a community gathered in borrowed spaces, held together by warmth, tradition, and the extraordinary people of this region.

On September 1st, the lease on our current Shul ends.

And by G-d's providence, at the very same moment, a rare and beautiful property has come available just minutes away, 10 Brushbox Drive, Mullumbimby Creek. We have secured a contract of sale which is already in place.

This is our opportunity. A permanent Shul. A place for our children, our Shabbat table, our weddings, mikva and our tears. I'm asking each of you, as friends of this community, to help us bring our own Shul to the shire.

From Where We Are

The Shul today.

A community woven together: our children, our families, our Shabbat table. Our current Shul in Byron has served this community with grace, but the lease ends on September 1st. Without action, we lose our Shul.

To Where We're Going

The Shul, forever.

A permanent home with open gardens and space to grow. The lower level opens fully to become an indoor and outdoor Shul. The upstairs becomes the Rabbi's residence and Shabbat hospitality.
